Together we’ll explore the stress, pain, trauma, or life circumstances that may be fueling the struggle with substances. We will develop practical tools for coping, relapse prevention, and emotional healing. Recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, support, and learning new ways to care for yourself.

MINDFULNESS IN THERAPY
Learn to slow down + come back to yourself
So much of our pain lives in the rush of thoughts, worries, and memories that pull us away from the present moment. Mindfulness techniques gently invite you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what is happening right now. I weave mindfulness in as a practical, everyday tool to help calm anxiety, ease overwhelming emotions, and create a sense of inner balance.
Together we’ll practice simple, grounding skills—like breathwork, body awareness, and gentle reflection—that can help you feel more centered and in control, even during difficult moments.

Faith and spirituality are powerful sources of comfort, strength, and hope. In therapy, these beliefs can become gentle anchors—offering meaning in hard seasons, guidance in uncertainty, and peace in the midst of struggle.
If faith is important to you, I thoughtfully weave it into your healing journey in a way that feels natural and supportive. Prayer, spiritual reflection, and faith-based perspectives can be part of our work together when that aligns with your values. At the same time, you don’t need to be religious or have clearly defined beliefs to feel welcome here.
